This 18 m² loft studio was designed for a university student seeking a comfortable, functional, and inspiring living environment within a compact footprint. By integrating a floating staircase, a dedicated study corner, a concealed laundry area, custom storage solutions, and an elevated sleeping zone, the design demonstrates how thoughtful planning can transform a small space into a complete and highly livable home.

Creating a functional home within a limited footprint presented several design challenges. The space needed to support studying, everyday living, dining, storage, and restful sleep while maintaining a sense of openness, organization, and visual balance.

Home Office
A dedicated workspace was integrated beneath the floating staircase, transforming an otherwise unused area into a highly functional home office. Custom shelving, natural daylight, and efficient storage support productive remote work without compromising the openness of the interior.
Sleeping Loft
The elevated sleeping area provides privacy while preserving valuable floor space below. Integrated storage solutions and minimalist furnishings help maintain a clutter-free environment.
